1. Our Philosophy

SimpleData is built with privacy in mind from the ground up. We believe that web analytics can provide powerful insights without compromising visitor privacy or relying on invasive tracking cookies.

2. What We Collect on Behalf of our Users

When a visitor navigates to a website using the SimpleData script, we collect:

• Page URL (the page they visited)
• HTTP Referrer (where they came from)
• Screen width (to classify as Mobile/Tablet/Desktop)
• User-Agent (to classify Browser and Operating System)
• IP Address (used temporarily to determine Country, then discarded)

3. How We Identify Unique Visitors

We do not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting. Instead, we generate a daily rotating hash based on the visitor's IP address, User-Agent, and the Website ID. This hash cannot be reverse-engineered to identify the original IP address, and because it rotates daily, it is impossible to track a user across multiple days or across different websites.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data or your visitors' data to any third parties. Your analytics data is strictly yours.
